Total Time 15 minutes
Servings: 16 skewers
Course: Appetizer

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries quartered
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • Long wooden skewers 6–8 inches

Method

  1. Wash and thoroughly dry the strawberries and blueberries. Quarter the strawberries into bite‑sized pieces.
  2. Thread ingredients onto each skewer in this repeating pattern:
  3. One strawberry quarter (red)
  4. One mini marshmallow (white)
  5. One blueberry (blue)
  6. Continue the pattern until the skewer is nearly full, leaving some space at the bottom to hold.
  7. Arrange the skewers on a platter in a flag‑style layout or bundle them upright in a jar for a cheerful centerpiece.
  8. Chill briefly if desired, then serve immediately.

Notes

  • Kid‑friendly? Yes—with supervision. For little ones under 2, consider reducing marshmallows or skipping them.
  • Prep ahead: Assemble up to a few hours before and refrigerate, layering with parchment paper to prevent stickiness.
  • Keep it cool: Refrigerate before serving in warm weather to maintain freshness.
