Ingredients

  • 1 pound bacon regular, thick-cut, turkey, or plant-based

Method

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
  2. Arrange bacon slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket (work in batches if needed).
  3. Cook for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway, until bacon reaches desired crispiness.
  4. Transfer bacon to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess grease.
  5. Let cool for 1–2 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Cooking times vary based on thickness—add 2–3 minutes for thick-cut, subtract 1–2 for turkey bacon.
  • To reduce smoke, place a slice of bread under the basket to soak up grease.
  • For toddlers: Serve in small crumbles or mixed into soft foods. Avoid whole strips for children under 2.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F for 2–3 minutes.
