Ingredients
  

  • 4 large potatoes
  • 2 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat air fryer to 360°F for 5 minutes.
  2. Wash and peel potatoes, then cut into 1/4-inch fries.
  3. Place fries in a bowl of cold water and soak for 30 minutes.
  4. Drain and pat dry with paper towels.
  5. Return fries to the bowl, drizzle with oil, and toss.
  6. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, toss again.
  7. Arrange fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  8. Cook for 20–25 minutes, shaking every 5 minutes, until golden and crispy.
  9. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For best results, use Russet or Yukon Gold potatoes.
  • Keep seasonings simple for toddlers; avoid spicy blends.
  • Fries are best fresh, but can be reheated in the air fryer for 3–4 minutes.
