Prep Time 15 minutes
Chill Time 15 minutes
Total Time 30 minutes
Servings: 15 strawberries

Ingredients

  • 1 cup strawberries washed and patted dry
  • ½ cup white chocolate chips or chopped bar
  • ¼ cup red candy melts
  • ¼ cup blue candy melts
  • Decorative sprinkles optional

Method

  1. Prep strawberries: Rinse and gently pat dry. Make sure they’re completely dry. Keep the green tops on for dipping.
  2. Melt white chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt white chocolate in 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  3. Dip strawberries: Holding by the green tops, dip each strawberry into the white chocolate, covering about ¾ of the fruit. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Let set: Allow strawberries to cool at room temp or refrigerate for 5–10 minutes until the chocolate firms up.
  5. Melt candy melts: In two separate bowls, melt red and blue candy melts the same way—short bursts in the microwave, stirring in between.
  6. Drizzle and decorate: Drizzle red and blue melts over the white chocolate-dipped strawberries using a spoon or piping bag. Add sprinkles while the drizzle is still wet.
  7. Final chill: Let strawberries set completely at room temp or chill briefly until firm.

Notes

  • Storage: Store in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
  • Toddler-friendly: These are a fun option for toddlers 1 year and up. Avoid hard or small sprinkles for children under 3.
  • Substitutions: You can use colored white chocolate instead of candy melts, or swap sprinkles with shredded coconut for texture.
